CINEMALAYA EXPERIENCE


          I had a great experience in Cinemalaya 2011. This was my first time to witness the opening event of Cinemalaya Independent Films. I’ve seen some celebrities and aspiring directors every time I went to CCP. And it was such a great pleasure to meet them in person. I admire them for contributing another achievement for the film industry.




          Before, I didn’t find indi films interesting, but when I have started to watch some of them, I got so amazed and felt like I wanted to watch all of those films. Because indi films made me become more aware of the current issues of our country. It helped me to broaden up my mind specially those other films that leave a puzzle behind the story.



        I have watched Cuchera, Bisperas and Ligo na U, Lapit na Me together with my friends and special someone. And I didn’t expect that those films would turn out like that, I mean they showed us things that are currently happening in our modern generation. I’m looking forward for the next year’s Cinemalaya 2012 because I know that Filipinos will never stop expressing their rights by showing their art to the people.
