''If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all. '' - Oscar Wilde

Our professor said earlier there will be an upcoming event on July 12 to 16, 2011 in Megamall which is the 15th Philippine Academic Book Fair and it is good for us to visit or to be part of the event as a Masscom student. Unfortunately, on the first day of the event, July 12 it was Tuesday they said there will be no Film App class later in the afternoon so it means it is the chance for us to visit the book fair. As an irregular student, I’m planning to go to the Megamall with one of my close friends in St. Scho taking Political Science and one of my friends in Benilde who is easy to get along with. We went there by riding first Lrt then Mrt. It’s quite hard for me because I’m not really a commuter. I mean, riding Lrt or Mrt everyday just to go to school because I’m living in a dormitory just along Dominga Street near St. Scho. But somehow we find easily going to Megamall because it’s not rush hour where people came from school and offices. We are already at Megamall by 5:00 in the afternoon.

First, my friends and I saw Forever 21 so as a fashion lover but I don’t have lots of money that day I just bought only one shorts and one top. After that we go to Megatrade B where the book fair is going on. Everyone will go inside should registered first. As I entered to the book fair and roamed around I was overwhelmed and amazed. There are a lot of academic books which is not really pricey that will help people to learn especially for us students. But there are some book that relatively pricey. There are also Science books that you can buy for sale like 2 for P500 or 3 books for P1000. Honestly, before going to the book fair I was thinking maybe I would get bored because I’m not really a book lover. I only read the books I’m interested to. But the moment I’m already there I never feel that way.  The sales lady there was very approachable they gave us some information about the books they were selling. The book fair is not just only for students because I guess even children who love books should visit there or even our grandparents. I asked my friend to take picture of me so I have one proof I really went there. After spending time at the book fair we go to Wendy’s to have dinner and after that we go back in Taft by riding a bus.

Dinner at Wendy's

@ the bus with mt friend Erin, also a Scholastican taking Political Science. On our way home:)
