MANILA ART

I liked this artwork because it is so Filipino. In the sense that we are very cheerful. ;) Traditionally, this picture shows that it's a celebration. That they are having fun. This picture makes me feel related to it. Like, I see myself in this picture. I always laugh and have fun and crack jokes to everyone. And I just enjoy spending time with my family and friends. A funny part in here is that they are drinking beer that we usually see in our country. They serve peanuts as their chaser. This shows how simple things can make a person enjoy one's company.

If I would make a film out of this picture, the flow of the story would be, there is a celebration, a birthday perhaps. The four persons, a girl and three guys are brothers. They are chillin' because it's the girls birthday. This can also be a bonding scene with a long time no see friends that they really need to catch up and one of them have remembered something that had happened which is very funny so you can see on their faces that they are very glad.

This next artwork is a pregnant woman. It is very significant for us ladies when we are pregnant. But ofcourse it it, you're carrying another being in your womb. This I liked this photo because it reminds me of my Mom. What she went throught when I was in her womb. It makes me feel loved and special to my parents :)

If I would make a film about this picture, the first thing that entered my mind is a woman bearing a child waiting for her husband, sadly. Or another way around her husband left her alone with a child on her womb with no father to help her mom to raise her/him. This can also be a mother, talking to her baby and making the baby feel loved by touching her belly.
